Family and athletics are extremely important to Dr. Bark which is why he has focused his education and career on the chiropractic care of families and athletics. Providing quality chiropractic care during early childhood can be a means of prevention of common injuries, illnesses and chronic diseases as we age. On the other end of the spectrum, he also enjoys helping those in pain find relief and eventually wellness through regular chiropractic adjustments and lifestyle enhancements! He likes to treat the 'whole person' in his work as a chiropractor, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, which usually arise from imbalances in the spinal column.
Dr. Bark received his Bachelors of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. While attending UWP, he received his 4-year athletic letter for football. He also participated in the Student Ambassador program and was the Senior Chairman of PSAAC (Pioneer Student Athletic Advisory Council).
He graduated from the fountain head of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has a Doctorate of Chiropractic with a concentration in sports and rehabilitation practice. He was also granted the Clinical Excellence Award for his graduating class at commencement from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer's Clinical Excellence Award is presented to a graduating doctor who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishment in service to patients, the College and the chiropractic profession. Candidates are nominated by Clinic faculty and are judged by a board of faculty clinicians on quality of patient care, leadership potential, knowledge, skills and service. He was also a recipient for awards of service honors, by receiving a certification of merit in Diagnosis, Clinical Teaching Assistant and Rehabilitation and Sports Injury.
Dr. Bradley Bark and his wife, Candice, met in undergraduate school and married in the summer of 2007. Candice received her Master's in Engineering from the University of Iowa. A.R.T is a patented soft tissue technique focused on addressing adhesions found in the fascia and muscular layers.
He gained experience while in the Palmer clinic treating a variety of patients including weekend warriors, collegiate athletes, and geriatric patients. He is excited about starting a career in the Muscatine and grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community he grew up in.
